What We Do

Matthew's House Ministry is a faith-based, nonprofit ministry that reaches out to our neighbors in need, centered on the North West Side of Grand Rapids, Michigan. We are a 501 c 3 non-profit that meets all requirements for tax deductible donations. 

We are a place of support for neighbors who have no physical home, need a place for community, or need a helping hand as they work toward a life of greater stability. Matthew's House offers a place of refreshment for the mind, body, and spirit.

Our mission is to show Christ's love and promote human dignity by providing access to showers, laundry facilities, food, and walking alongside our neighbors as they transition to success.

We also pour love into our youth who have broken lives and need encouragement as we listen and direct them to Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. 

The focus of Matthew's House is directed towards spiritual growth, education, employment, and transitional housing for men.
